RADIOGRAPHS

Radiographs are an essential part of guinea pig medicine. We need them if we want to be able to examine the inner organs of these animals (e.g. position of intestines in relation to the stomach, or the status of the urinary tract and bladder). To be able to treat dental disease properly it is essential to be able to examine the status of the tooth roots, which is only possible with the help of radiographs. At our clinic we use a digital, high quality x-ray machine to get sufficiently detailed images.
