HOSPITAL CARE

Rabbits frequently need to stay in our hospital if they are severely ill or their treatment at home is not possible. If they need complicated surgeries the aftercare is usually provided in our hospital. In the placement of rabbits it is our top priority, that they feel safe and comfortable in our care. Under hospital care they are treated 2-3 times a day (dependent on their needs), and are syringe fed if they don’t eat enough on their own. They are placed in individual crates and are provided with fresh water, hay and several kinds of feed so they can choose. We cannot provide an exact copy of their home environment, so our goal is always to be able to release them home as soon as possible.
